Project details
Located just inland from Ferguson Street Pier in Williamstown, this Coles supermarket upgrade was delivered under strict lockdown conditions. With a cap of five tradespeople permitted on site at any one time — where a project of this scale would typically require four times that — the team carefully staggered and alternated schedules to maintain progress.
Despite the constraints, the project was completed seamlessly within five weeks. The scope included a full internal repaint, new internal signage, vinyl floor replacement and upgraded lighting and power. A new Click and Collect Service Desk was constructed, alongside installation of new equipment including a flat bread machine, orange juice machine, dishwasher, chicken warmer and mochi fridge.
The works also incorporated new digital screens and crash rails, with STAARK coordinating all Coles direct contractors including refrigeration, internal and external signage, shopfitting, data electricians, security and IT to ensure a smooth and successful delivery.
